I aim for simplicity when I work.

Though components of my work may be intricate, the overall goal of the images I make is to eliminate the unnecessary and present only the simplified visual voice. My aspiration is to blend visual art and original

graphic design techniques into a new language of purposeful, informative persuasion.

Recently, I have been working with simplified relief sculptural forms made from layers of inexpensive sheets of wood in various thickness.

When working with these materials, I have been seeking to create images that rely heavily on shadows

and shallow spaces. Along with this I have been studying original graphic design techniques, bringing

back the old processes that have been somewhat forgotten in recent design.
